Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how [ENTITY NAME] (“glp1.how”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use glp1.how. By using the site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Information we collect
- Account information. glp1.how uses passwordless sign-in (Google sign-in and email magic links). When you sign in we receive your email address and, if you use Google, basic profile information Google provides. We do not receive or store your password.
- Sign-in and security logs. To operate and secure the site we record sign-in events, which may include timestamps, IP address, and general device or browser information.
- Usage and analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site.
- Content you provide. If you are an editor or contributor, we store the content and edits you submit.
We do not intentionally collect medical records or ask you to submit personal health information. Please do not send us sensitive health details through the site.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the site and your account.
- To authenticate you and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To understand and improve how the site is used.
- To communicate with you about your account or the service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Where required (for example, for users in the EU/UK), our legal bases are performance of a contract (providing the service), our legitimate interests (security and improvement), consent (where applicable), and compliance with legal obligations.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, including:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of application data.
- Vercel — website hosting and analytics.
- Google — sign-in, if you choose Google sign-in.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer.
Consumer health data
Because glp1.how covers GLP-1 medications, your use of the site could reveal an interest in a health topic. Some laws (for example, Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s consumer-health-data law) treat such information as “consumer health data.” We do not sell consumer health data and do not use it for targeted advertising. If these laws apply to you, you have the rights described below, and you may contact us to exercise them.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to secure the site. Our analytics are designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data as described below.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it); and to appeal a decision about your request. Residents of the EU/UK, California (CCPA/CPRA), and other jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@glp1.how. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children
glp1.how is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. To report a security concern, see our Security page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
