A1C

A1C (hemoglobin A1C, or HbA1c) is a blood test that reflects average blood glucose levels over roughly the previous two to three months. It's used to diagnose type 2 diabetes and prediabetes and to track how well treatment — including GLP-1 medications — is managing blood sugar over time.
