Novo Nordisk is a Denmark-based pharmaceutical manufacturer and one of the two dominant makers of GLP-1-class medications, alongside Eli Lilly. Novo Nordisk manufactures semaglutide, sold as Ozempic (diabetes), Wegovy (weight management), and Rybelsus (oral form), as well as the older GLP-1 drug liraglutide (Victoza, Saxenda). The company also offers NovoCare, a savings and patient support program.
