Slow responder

A slow responder is someone who sees little effect from a GLP-1 medication at standard starting or mid-range doses, requiring a longer titration period or a higher maintenance dose before experiencing meaningful appetite suppression or weight loss. This is a normal variation in individual response, not a sign the medication isn't working — patience through the titration schedule, and discussing dose adjustments with a prescriber, is the typical path forward.
